Napalunok siya nang maramdaman ang tila pag-ayon ng kanyang puso sa sinabi nito. “I… I am already yours…” she said quietly, her face down.
A satisfied smile crossed his lips. “And I’m yours as well, sweet Emily. Now and forever…”
There are no feelings involved. Alam niyang iyon ang katotohanan—for Brandon, at least.
